College of Forestry Budget Summary 

The Education and General budget is distributed to the College through the university's Shared Responsibility Budget Model. That distribution is only to the college level and is just one portion of the College's revenue.

The College distributes the E&G budget it receives by funding a portion of each faculty and instructor's salary. Each year, departments provide the college budget team with the percentage of faculty time allocated to teaching, which is the portion of the salary funded by E&G. Other portions of faculty salary are supported by the Forest Research Laboratory, Statewide Public Service Programs, Harvest Tax or other revenue streams such as endowments. Salaries represent approximately 84% of the College budget.
